The doctrine of future events deals with the final destiny of man. It encompasses the end of man (with death being only an intermediate state), the Church Age, the Second Coming of Christ, the Rapture, the Rewards, the great Tribulation, the millennial reign of Christ, and the New Jerusalem. We are for now concerned with the Second Coming and the End of the Ages in which event it is necessary to distinguish the key players.
