God is revealed and known …The mystery of the Godhead revealed is the backbone to
the Christian Faith (Matt. 16:13-19; Jn. 14:6-11, 15-23; 16:7-14; Acts 2:33; Rom. 8:9-11;
Eph. 3:14-19). God exists as a perfect unity and hence a Trinity; yet God is revealed and
known as three distinct persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:17;
28:19; Jn. 14:6-11, 15-23; 16:7-14; Acts 2:33; Rom. 8:9-11; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Tim. 3:9, 16; 1
Pet. 1:2). In their distinctions, the Father is not the Son; but neither is the Son the Holy
Spirit; nor the Father the Holy Spirit. In their divinity, they are co-equal and exist both
together and separately as God; hence the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit
is God.
