The Bible is clearly a compilation of the drama about Jesus Christ as His-story; from the
opening and concluding chapters or verses in Genesis and Malachi in the Old Testament
(Gen. 1:1-28; Mal. 4:1-6) and then in Matthew and Revelation in the New Testament
(Matt. 1:1-25; Rev. 22:6-21), respectively. Christian doctrine (s) and the attendant
Christian faith grow out of this biblical drama about Christ (Matt. 28:18-20; Lk. 24:44-
47; Jn. 5:39; 7:16, 17; 18:19; Acts 2:42; 5:28; 13:12; 17:19; Rom. 6:17; 16:17-27; Col.
1:5-7; 1 Tim. 3:9, 16; 6:1-3; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; Tit. 1:2, 9; 2:1-10; Heb. 6:1, 2; 11:6; 1 Jn.
1:1-3; 2:20-27; 2 Jn. 1:9, 10; Jd. 1:3). The drama then is about God in reference to man;
such that He God reveals who or what He is like, in clear step by step and nonspeculative ways to humanity. Thus, God who is transcendent and immanent Spirit
Supreme Being becomes a tangible Personal God in relation to man through the
Incarnation of His Son in real human history.
