The mystery of the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 2:7 cf. 1 Cor. 1:18-31 vv. 18-24, 30; 2:1-13
vv. 6, 7; 3:18-23 v. 19; Eph. 1:8, 11; 3:9, 10) where Christ’s death on the cross which is
foolishness to the perishing is God’s only wise means of saving humanity from sin, death
and eternal Hell fire. God's wisdom is the wisdom of God Himself. We know that God is
Omniscient. So, God's wisdom is proclaimed in a mystery by imparting revealed wisdom,
knowledge and understanding.
