Eschatology refers to the study of the final events that will mark the end of the world and usher in God's eternal kingdom. Definite signs marking the last lap of history will surely precede such a significant event, the consummation. Christian eschatology concerns the end of all creation: an end in which the whole course of human history will reach its God-given conclusion. It also speaks of the destiny of all human persons, their bodily as well as spiritual reality.
